Lukas Burk

Pursuing a PhD in statistics and machine learning since April 2021 at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology - BIPS in Bremen. From 2021 until April 2026, the position was shared with the Chair of Statistical Learning and Data Science (SLDS) of LMU Munich in association with the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML).

Topics include survival analysis, empirical benchmarking of learning algorithms, feature importance, and feature selection in high-dimensional data.
