PhD in statistics / machine learning at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology — BIPS in Bremen. From 2021 until April 2026, I did my PhD in a position shared between BIPS and the Chair of Statistical Learning and Data Science (SLDS) of LMU Munich in association with the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML).

Topics include survival analysis, empirical comparisons of learning algorithms, feature importance, and feature selection in high-dimensional data.
